In 1972, after many years of propagating and selling chrysanthemums for New England’s famous Stafford Conservatories, William H. (Bill) Milikowski and his wife, Jeanne, created a small greenhouse and nursery supply business with one goal in mind: service the growers in New England with the best products to help their businesses grow. With that, the company W.H. Milikowski, Inc. and its slogan, “Grow With Us,” were created.

The first “warehouse,” Bill’s garage, is now three from which W. H. Milikowski, Inc. services not only the New England growers and nurserymen but their northeast and the mid-Atlantic customers as well. Locations in Stafford Springs, CT, East Syracuse, NY, and, most recently, Lancaster, PA are stocked and staffed with the products and personnel to keep your business on the cutting edge of the ever-changing horticultural marketplace. In addition to these stocking locations, W. H. Milikowski, Inc. also maintains a customer service center in Piscataway, NJ.

Since Bill and Jeanne’s passing almost ten years ago, President Mark Milikowski has guided the company adhering to his father’s tenet of sales and service with the belief that, “It all starts with an order.” Fifteen area sales representatives for both hard goods and plant material are available to discuss your purchase options. All four locations have a customer service team that can help you get the answers you need about W. H. Milikowski’s vast product offering. A single station wagon used for deliveries has given way to a fleet of trucks and weekly delivery schedules to keep you on time and growing.

The products in W. H. Milikowski’s first sales brochure were primarily growing mixes and simple plastic pots. Now, our catalog features thousands of products ranging from the basic to the elaborate. W. H. Milikowski, Inc. has a Structures Department, Irrigation Department and Plant Department to help you with the planning, information and design that is necessary to help you become more efficient. Our warehouses are stocked with the finest products in the industry – like Sun Gro professional growing mixes, Jack’s fertilizers and Landmark containers. We also stock specialty items like Dosmatic injectors, Netafim irrigation parts, Star Steel Structures greenhouses and a full line of post-patent chemicals from Nufarm and Fine.
